Top Ten Tuesday: Characters I would have a crush on if I were also a fictional character

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish!

This week's topic is characters that we would crush on if we were also fictional. Most of these are adult characters as, well, I am an adult, and it's less weird that way! Some YA characters are in here as well, and I read most of those books as an actual teenager.

#1. Homer Yannos from the Tomorrow series by John Marsden. He's kind of an idiot sometimes, but he always pulls through for the group.

#2. Roarke from the In Death series by Nora Roberts / J.D. Robb. I've been working through the audio version of this series for the last couple of months, and I just love his Irish brogue and air of mystery. Yum.

#3. Hunter Niall from the Sweep series by Cate Tiernan. I've had a crush on him since middle school . . . and I am now 25.

#4. Acheron Parthenopaeus from the Dark-Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon. I enjoyed him in the beginning of the series but was utterly won over by his book. Not to mention that he is an ACTUAL god. Although, in this fictional world, I would have to be at least one foot taller just to make this a feasible option.

#5. Clayton Danvers from the Women of the Otherworld series by Kelley Armstrong. He's another of those scarily delicious guys. And a WEREWOLF to boot!

#6. Shane Laughlin from Born to Darkness (hopefully a series) by Suzanne Brockmann. Honorable man screwed over by the system yet still maintains his honor in the face of desperation. Also has psychic abilities which could be useful in the boudoir.

#7. Storm from the Belador series by Sherrilyn Kenyon and Dianna Love. I'm still not entirely sure if this is because I find Storm intriguing or if part of me wants to be the female lead, Evalle . . .

#8. - #9. Dorian Havillard and Chaol Westfall from the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas. I'm not sure yet who I am rooting for in this series, so there's no particular order here. They both have their good points.

#10. Jeff Raven from The Rowan by Anne McCaffrey. I actually love every male character on this series, but Jeff is by far my favorite. Loyal, sexy, psychic, and in a sci-fi novel. That is everything I could ask for in a man!
