On My Wishlist (7)

On My Wishlist is a fun weekly event hosted by Book Chick City every Saturday in which we list books we desperately want but haven't actually bought yet. The books can be old, new or forthcoming.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Both of these books will be released this week!

BITTEN IN TWO
(Jaz Parks #7)
by Jennifer Rardin

Jaz. Is. Pissed. She and Vayl had been operating like a couple of finely carved gears…until now. Just as they’re arriving in Morocco to secure an ancient artifact that must carve the name of Jaz’s possessor into the gates of hell if he’s to be vanquished, Vayl wakes up calling Jaz by another woman’s name. And it’s not even a good one. But since any form of argument transforms Vayl into an unholy terror, Jaz is forced to play along until she and the gang can figure out what kind of power has so vastly altered his perceptions.

SWEEP Volume 2
(Sweep #4-6)
by Cate Tiernan

Volume 2 contains the fourth, fifth, and sixth installments in the Sweep series - one of my favorite series of all time! If you haven't read the Sweep books yet, you need to pick them up!

  1. I'm quite upset that my last Q&A with Jennifer Rardin was deleted when my email host dumped my entire inbox, but I plan to do something to celebrate the release of her next book.

I haven't heard of Cate Tiernan before, and I'm going to check out Sweep. Love the cover and I'm interested in books with magical themes these days.

  3. Okay, total fangirl moment here, but OHMYGOD MARTA ACOSTA IS READING MY BLOG! I absolutely adored Happy Hour at Casa Dracula. This is so cool. :)

Now that that's over with . . . I am sorry that your Q&A was deleted, but I hope you have a great time doing whatever you choose to do for Jennifer Rardin's latest release. I'm sure she would appreciate the way the publishing community has rallied around her books since her passing. I also hope you enjoy Cate Tiernan's novels. She has two other series in addition to Sweep - Balefire, which is being re-released in a new bind-up edition in December, and Immortal Beloved, the first of which was just released in September of this year. Sweep, though, will always be first in my heart.

@ pussrebots Thanks for stopping by! I will go check out your wishlist.
