November Overview

 Happy November!

November will be a little different on ye old blog. I will be participating in NaNoWriMo (at least, so long as I don't give up after the first case of writer's block) and so probably won't have a lot of time to read my usual amount of books. The books I hope to read will also be books similar to the one I hope to write: young adult dystopian novels. The purpose of this is two-fold - to get inspiration and to get something done for the YA Dystopian Challenge over at Bart's Bookshelf. If I get any ARCs those will, of course, be read and reviewed as soon as possible.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know that I'm not abandoning you! We will be back to our regularly scheduled programming in December! :)

  1. Good luck! I'm doing it too. I actually managed to finish it last year but with some of my worst writing just so I could be a winner :D.

  2. Good luck! I'm participating this year as well. I "won" last year, but didn't actually finish the novel. This year I'm adapting my script from Script Frenzy, so hopefully I'll actually not just make word count, but have a craptastic, but finished, novel! I'm writing YA too, not only because I do enjoy the genre, but because I think if you can get kids and teens to really love reading then they will grow into adults who love reading. I know I did! Off to get my word count for the day!

  3. Good luck! I'm participating as well!
